• According to last year's 2021 Post Utme examination, UI post-utme is now a Computer based examination.

Is UI POST UTME hard?

Yes. Many people believe that UI Post UTME is the most difficult of all the Universities entrance examination in Nigeria. It is because the exam questions are standard. 

How many Students does University of Ibadan admit?

According to 2021 admissions statistics, UI only accepts about four thousand (4,000) applicants every year.

University of Ibadan Post Utme Subject Combination

UI uses the JAMB subject combination. It means you will write the same subjects in your screening exam as your JAMB exams.

For example, let’s say you are applying to study Electrical Engineering at UI.

Your Post UTME subject combination will be the Use of English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

Post UTME Exam Format

The University of Ibadan (UI) exam format is 100 questions for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

You will answer twenty-five (25) questions for each subject combination.

You must study how to prepare and pass the UI Post UTME exam.

How to Calculate UI Aggregate Score

To calculate your UI Aggregate score, Divide your JAMB score by eight (8) and your Post UTME score by 2 to calculate the UI aggregate score.

For example, let’s assume you have a JAMB score of 250 and a Post UTME score of 68;

JAMB = 250/8 = 31.25
Post UTME = 68/2 = 34
Aggregate = 65.25.
