Strike: I Paid My Fees For 500L In August 2021 And I'm Still In 500L Till Now- NANS VP

While speaking with newsmen and other members of the public, the vice president, inter-campus affairs of the National Association Of Nigerian Students (NANS), Vanessa Egbeahie, lamented on the negative effects of the ongoing strike.

Vanessa Egbeahie who is a final year student of Uniben, complained that she paid her school fees for 500 level in August 2021 and as at September 2022, she is still in the same level, as a result of the ASUU strike. She stated that the current strike is the worst thing to happen to nigerian students and has called on the Federal Government to respond positively to the demands of the striking lecturers, so that schools can be reopened.

She made this statement during the peaceful protest which was staged by Nigerian Students under the aegis of NANS. The protest took place at the entrance of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.
