We Cannot Meet All Your Demands— FG Tells ASUU

The Nigerian Govt through the Ministry of Labour has, today, clearly stated that it does not have the needed funds to meet the demands made by the the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

This is coming after Nigerian Labour Minister, Chris Ngige, met with the Committee which was mandated on the 5th of March to, within 6 weeks, renegotiate the 2009 Federal Government Agreement with ASUU.

The committee returned with a feedback revealing that most of the issues raised by the union are nearly impossible to be addressed at this time.
