How To Login To Your Student's Portal & How To Access Your UI Student Email Address











It is no longer news that the University of Ibadan, UI portal has now been updated due to the fact that many freshers have to pay for school fees and technology fee.

However, as some stalites are having difficulties in logging in to the portal again after the long holiday, some Freshers even Stalites are still unconscious of how to access their UI Student Email Address.


Once you get admitted into the institution, UI, you will be given your personal UI Student Email Address

The UI Student Email Address is where you’ll get informed on latest updates especially when the University releases a special broadcast to all students.

It is also utilized by management to communicate with students.

Below, are simple guidelines on how to log in to your student portal (for both newly admitted students and returning students) and how to access your UI Student Email Address (also for both newly admitted students and returning students).

How To Log in to the UI Student Portal.


For Freshers:-


- Visit this link portal.ui.edu.ng

- Click on NEW STUDENTS LOGIN HERE

- A page will be displayed asking you to input your JAMB Registration number. Then go back and login as an Existing Student

- Since you’re a new student, type in your matric number as both username and password.

- Afterwards you will be logged in and you can now set your new password.



For Returning Students:-



- Click on Existing STUDENTS LOGIN

- A page will be displayed asking you to input your Username and password.

- Since its been a while you’ve logged in, type in your matric number in the username and password box and you’ll be logged in.

- If that doesn’t work out, type in your previous password and you’ll be asked to login with your your matric number as the username and password after 24 hrs.



How To Access Your UI Student Email Address.



For Freshers:-


- Visit the link http://www.stu.ui.edu.ng/ or visit www.gmail.com

- If you visit www.stu.ui.edu.ng you would stop be redirected to gmail.

- At the displayed login page, type in your given UI Student Email Address e.g [email protected]

- Please make sure you type your email correctly as given.

- Your default password is password. It should be written in lower case like this —>> password

- After having logged in, you would be required to change your password.

- And then, you would gain full access.


For Returning Students:-


-  Visit the link http://www.stu.ui.edu.ng/ or visit www.gmail.com

-  If you visit www.stu.ui.edu.ng you would stop be redirected to gmail.

- At the displayed login page, type in your given UI Student Email Address e.g [email protected]

- Pls make sure you type your email correctly as given.

- Type in your password and login.

-  In case you’ve forgotten your password, click on the link “forget password”

- You will be asked to enter the phone number you registered with or your recovery email.

- Choose any of your choice and you’ll be sent a text (if you choose your phone number) and then,

- You can now login to your email

  1. I have been trying to login but it's bringing your student status is not up to date. Please do I have to wait for them to update it, for me to access my profile?

    1. Mr. Samiytech, you will have to wait for the University to update your studentship because apparently, that's what they are trying to do.
      Other students have confirmed that they are experiencing the same issue.
