SPORTS: Italian coach tests positive for COVID-19

The Italian Football Federation (Italian: Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio; FIGC) has announced​ Italy Coach, Roberto Mancini to have contracted Corona virus disease. At the time of the release of this information, he was asymptomatic.

According to the governing body, he was tested during the periodic controls undertaken on Italy coaches ahead of the UEFA games.

“He remains asymptomatic and, in compliance with the active guidelines, the Azzurri head coach went into self-isolation at his home in Rome ".

Mancini’s men host Estonia in a friendly on Wednesday before welcoming top of the table Poland on November 15 and travelling to Bosnia and Hercegovina three days later in the final fixtures of their Nations League group campaign .
