What is WAEC?
The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is a type of standardized Examination taken in West Africa by (Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and the Gambia). Students who pass the exam receive a certificate confirming their graduation from secondary education. It is administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
What is NECO?
The National Examination Council (popularly known as NECO) is a Nigerian examination body that conducts the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) and the General Certificate in Education (GCE) in June/July and November/December respectively.
How to Upload O’Level Result on JAMB Portal.
- Log-in to your JAMB profile (https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/)
- Click on the icon ‘Check Admission Status,
- Click on the icon ‘Access my CAPS’
- Click on ‘My O’level result to be sure whether you have upload your NECO or WAEC result. If you haven’t done that, visit any nearby accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office to
- upload your O’level result. Admission cannot be processed for candidates whose O’level status in CAPS indicates ‘Awaiting Result’.
